OSB (Oriented Strand Borad) is made of the mixture of dried and selected small wood chips, glue and additives. The board is constructed in multiplies after hot pressing. Thousands of chips are pressed in different directions and produce high strength. OSB is now regarded as a fast developing, good promising and mature board product in Japan , America and Europe .

At present, more than 48% of wood-based panel made in America is OSB, which has been used as a substitute of MDF and plywood products in various industries.
